The object being, get as many backlinks as fast as possible. Yes, it can work but there is a much more effective way.
Maybe I’ll get some flak for saying this, but I don’t care. I really despise smart assistants. Amazon, Google, Apple and Microsoft all have their own brand of assistants. Sure, you may be able to complete a task faster with voice than with manual input, but is it really necessary?

Google has just announced Google Maps Platform. This is not something new but rather a consolidation of their 18 APIs into 3 categories – maps, routes, and places. Perhaps the most worrisome aspect is the fact that they have merged their standard (free) and premium plans into one. How exactly? Users will get a $200 credit for free applied towards API usage. They claim that 98% of current users will not be affected and continue using the service for free. However, in their announcement post it is stated that billing must be set up before the credit can be awarded. This is nerve-wracking. No one wants to attach a credit card to a Google service they expect for free.
If you’ve never heard of the term before, the definition can be summed up in two parts. The first part is all about checking your own website and internal linking structure. If there are dead or broken links, they should either be fixed or removed. The second part is a little bit more involved. Basically, you want to find mentions about your brand, a specific product or person, or anything of significance on your website.
Since mobile devices and smartphones have become so prevalent, the need for speed has never been greater. It is one thing to have a fast broadband connection at your home. It definitely is frustrating when you spend a lot of time optimizing a page for a keyword and not have it shown on the results pages. Even more so when another page that you are not targeting is listed for that keyword. Unfortunately, we can’t control how Google sees our websites and pages. All we can do is follow their guidelines and steer Google in the right direction.
While I’ve never encountered the specific issue of the Add Media button not working, I’ve dealt with my fair share of broken functionality. The “CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS” fix as described in the article is a great temporary solution. However, since this forces the scripts to load separately, website performance and speed will suffer. You’ll need to do some troubleshooting to permanently solve the problem.
