SE Ranking has made some great strides in 2018. They’ve added several databases for keyword and competitor research in countries such as Sweden, Norway, Ireland, and New Zealand. They’ve also polished their interface to give it a more slick and modern look. Now that the new year is almost here, their goals are even more ambitious.
If the current SEO tool you’re using doesn’t have that killer feature you’re looking for, the SE Ranking team are asking you to let them know in a wish list. Previously, the folks at SE Ranking have posted a similar question in their developer’s Facebook group. However, that was on a small scale. It certainly seems that they want prospective and veteran users alike to get the very most out of this robust set of tools.
My SE Ranking Wish Request
Of course, I’ve already submitted my request. While they have some social integration tools for Facebook and Twitter, I asked that they take it a step further. There is no denying that those two platforms are the behemoths of the social networks. However, two other networks that are in Alexa’s Top 50 US Websites deserve more respect from SEO agencies.
Instagram and Pinterest Do Wonders For Branding
That’s right, Instagram and Pinterest. If you’re ever looking to create a story and build a following for your audience, those two networks should be an integral part of your branding strategy. There are some industries which benefit more from them, however, if done effectively, you can really drive more traffic to your website. As a result, this will boost your rankings in Google.
I Would Love to See a Tailwind Like Feature in SE Ranking
A disclaimer: I haven’t personally tried Tailwind, but I’ve read many reviews and opinions of others I respect in the SEO industry and they all say the same thing. It’s helped them acheive great success for themselves and/or their clients.
The main purpose people use Tailwind is so that they can schedule Pins for Pinterest and Instagram Posts whenever they’d like. Have 10, 20, 50 or so pins you want to spread out? Tailwind can make that happen. There’s also a hashtag finder that will help you build an even bigger audience. They also provide insight, analytics, and metrics so that you can capitalize as best as possible for your target audience.
So why haven’t I tried it?
It’s very affordable for bloggers and small businesses. For agencies, it gets a little pricier. Personally, I just don’t have the time to use it for my own purposes. I’ve been so busy with my own clients that what little time I do have is spent on content for my niche website.
My own clients usually don’t opt for SEO and if they do it is one of the smaller packages. Even though the ROI for SEO has a huge payoff, many businesses just don’t have the patience and prefer to see the instant results that Pay-Per-Click has. It’s unfortunate because once the hard work is done with SEO, it can be a money-making machine and bring much greater returns than PPC.
Crossing My Fingers and Clicking My Heels
If anyone from the SE Ranking team is reading this, I ask that you seriously consider this request! You guys have been great in every aspect. I really think with the negative publicity that Facebook and Twitter have received lately, people are putting their faith into more story-teller social networks.
I certainly have no idea how difficult of a task this would be to integrate into SE Ranking. Although, I’d be more than happy to be a tester. I’m really curious to see what popular requests make it into the platform in the new year.
