cPanel has made quite a name for themselves in the web hosting industry. From shared hosting to dedicated servers, their presence is visible on any reputable hosting company’s platform. I can’t imagine maintaining my clients’ websites without it. So many features make server administration a lot easier than you’d think. It can sure save you a lot of headaches.
Take EasyApache for example. Their latest version, EasyApache4 makes compiling a web server configuration super quick. I consider myself a pretty knowledgeable user of their Web Hosting Manager product. However, looking at the console logs when EA4 is run makes me appreciated how automated their system is. Sure, I’ve dabbled in Linux here and there, but if I were tasked to compile a program line-by-line, I’d be lost.
When using their AutoSSL feature in conjunction with Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates, I can have a set it and forget it mentality. It’s comforting to know that WHM is handling the renewing and maintaining of these certificates for my large clientele. This allows me to focus more on web design. For that, I’m greatly appreciative.
